What we stand for
The church only exists because of what Jesus did on the cross, and it must always be centred on Him. We know Him through the dual witness of the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, which cannot be separated.
Our values:
Everything we do within the church family at VEC should express one of three core values: loving God (worship), learning to become more like Jesus (discipleship) and sharing life with each other (fellowship).
Our vision:
Everything we do outside the church family should express our threefold vision, as we seek to extend God’s Kingdom by giving evidence of our faith: verbally (witness), through the way we live (lifestyle) and by serving those around us (service).
Finally, all that we do, whether inside or outside VEC, should be motivated by God’s love as it is shown in Christ.
